Allen Bradley 1794-AENT

Rayon Automation, as the supplier of Allen Bradley 1794-AENT, is the core communication adapter module of the Flex I/O series. Acting as a gateway between the EtherNet/IP network and the Flex I/O module, it converts the instructions of the industrial Ethernet into underlying data and drives various I/O modules at the back end. Product Description

The Allen Bradley 1794-AENT provided by Rayon Automation has passed the CE certification standard. As the first module of the Flex I/O rack, it is responsible for allocating addresses for up to 8 I/O modules on the right side, scheduling data communication, and reporting the module status to the controller. We offer excellent pre-sale and after-sale services. Please feel free to make your purchase.

Core hardware architecture and high-speed network communication mechanism

Adaptive Industrial Ethernet Interface
The Allen Bradley 1794-AENT is equipped with a standard RJ45 physical interface, supporting adaptive communication rates of 10/100 Mbps. Combined with the Full-Duplex mode, it can significantly increase the data throughput of the backplane, eliminate network collisions, and achieve microsecond-level I/O refresh response.
Explicit and implicit message passing support
Native support for the EtherNet/IP protocol. Through implicit messaging, deterministic real-time control polling data is handled while receiving non-periodic explicit messages (Explicit Messaging) sent by the master CPU, which is suitable for online parameter configuration and dynamic diagnosis.
Compact snap-on physical structure
It integrates an efficient backplane power management chip, which can be installed on standard rails, such as 1794-TB3 or 1794-TB3S terminal bases. It provides stable logical power supply for the entire set of FLEX I/O cards mounted on the right side.

Typical Architecture

1. The Allen Bradley 1794-AENT is suitable for installation in remote control cabinets located away from the main control room but close to the field equipment, such as pump rooms, conveyor line substations, etc.
2. It can communicate simultaneously with multiple Logix controllers, such as Consuming/Producing, enabling data sharing.
3. The AENT is equipped with a Web server. Engineers do not need dedicated software. By entering the module IP address through the browser, they can view the module status, network statistics, IP configuration, and connection diagnostic information.
