Applications

The Schneider BMXP342020 is equipped with an NXP Cortex-A53 core with a main frequency of up to 750 MHz, has powerful computing power, and has built-in 4096 KB of memory, which is sufficient to cope with complex application requirements. Its interface configuration is rich and diverse, including an Ethernet interface (using an RJ45 connector) that supports Ethernet Modbus/TCP networks to ensure high-speed data transmission; a serial communication interface that is compatible with Modbus serial links (RS 232C/RS 485, 2-wire, non-isolated) and is suitable for character mode links; and a mini-B USB connector for easy programming and debugging, located on the front panel.

The front panel design of the BMXP342020 takes into account both user convenience and device safety. 8 LED indicators display the device status in real time, such as Ethernet activity (ETH ACT), operating status (RUN), and Ethernet status (ETH STS). There is a security screw on the front of the module to lock the module firmly in the slot, effectively preventing accidental movement and ensuring safe and stable operation of the device.

In terms of storage and data protection, the BMXP342020 comes standard with an SD (Secure Digital) flash card for backing up the RAM, programs, symbols, comments, and constant areas inside the processor module. When the PLC is turned off, the data is automatically backed up; after power is restored, the data recovery process is completely transparent to the user, ensuring data security and reliability.
